John Lee Knight served the Church of the Nazarene as a pastor in Texas, as general member and chairman of the board for Trevecca Nazarene College and Nazarene Theological Seminary, as a district superintendent for Florida and West Texas, as executive secretary for the department of Evangelism, and as an evangelist. He was married to Beulah and father to Marselle, John, and Don.
