The Inaugural Address of E. LeBron Fairbanks presented on the occasion of his installation as the 2nd president of the Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Manila, Philippines.
The key issue addressed in this paper is the need to prepare the People of God for their God-Called Ministry to serve others in Jesus’ name. Next steps include clarifying the basic elements of ministerial formation, defining its theology of ministry, pursuing the implications of a theology of ministry for curriculum reform and structural changes, and identifying the theory of education which undergirds the task.
