Description / Abstract
The theme of “Brokenness and Christian Leadership” was addressed in a presentation to pastors and spouses on the Luzon District (Philippines), Church of the Nazarene.
The questions explored were “What do you want to teach me. Lord, in this humbling moment," and “What is the relationship between leadership in business, education, or ministry and the brokenness of spirit we often experience in these situations?”
The participants explored the relationship between humility, brokenness, and leadership in the pastoral setting in which we are called to serve, especially in the midst of conflicting expectations and the multiple demands placed on the pastor as leaders.
