Description / Abstract
The 1998 document, “A Commitment to Excellence,” is the second of three strategic plans prepared during the 18-year tenue of E. LeBron Fairbanks as president of the university. As with the original document, the Board of Trustees’ members and approximately 60 campus representatives were involved in the process that resulted in the 1998 revision. The results of this collaborative analysis, review, thinking and discussion were eleven strategic initiatives outlined in the document.
