Description / Abstract
The “Final Report” of the fifth Mount Vernon University president was given on November 2, 2006 to the University Board of Trustees.
The Report shares his reflections on serving as the university president for approximately 18 years. Statements of appreciation are shared and completed projects are referenced.
Next steps, or “Looking Ahead” to retirement years are mentioned. Concluding thoughts reference the “Man in the Arena” speech by the late US president, Teddy Roosevelt, “The Servant’s Song, and the parting words of the late Dag Hammarskjold, former Secretary General of the United Nations.
