Otho Jennings was an educator in Christian higher education and an ordained elder in the Wesleyan Church. He taught at John Welsey College, Greensboro, North Carolina; Wesley College, Florence, Massachussetts, which he helped found; Eastern Pilgrim College, Allentown, Pennsylvania; Southern Pilgrim College, Kernersville, North Carolina; Owosso College, Owosso, Michigan where he served as president; Asbury College, Wilmore, Kentucky; and Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Illinois, where he retired as chairman of the Social Sciences department. He was married to Gatha and father to Marilyn, Judith, Lyndon, and William.
